Saying that races don't exist because everybody has unique DNA, is like saying that colours don't exist because the rainbow is a spectrum.

Yes, indeed!

Speaking as a biologist myself I am infuriated by the audacity of Rutherford who calls himself a geneticist. One does not need to be a scientist to see what is blindingly obvious. It's clear that this guy is either victim of ideological stupidity, or just plain malicious. I suspect the former. The worry is that people like this are teaching our children! Thank you Simon, an excellent piece debunking!

Rutherford is a Marxist, which might go some way to explaining this!

or he's got a chip on his shoulder from somewhere, probably from his narcissism.

Biologically, there are different races.

And morally, being anti-racist is on a par with being pro-racist.

This is true.

An interesting read - I used to think those who followed a woke approach to this subject had a different view to me but were simply wrong - now I think that they are deluded and perhaps their world-view is tantamount to being mentally ill. They have been brainwashed by a cult - they are the extremists and they don't even know it. Anyway, that's what I think.

I agree entirely. They seem to live in some bizarre alternative universe, quite different from the one in which the rest of us live!

Then if all these problems of health and behaviour are attributable to western culture and racism, then studies of the same groups in their homelands outside of the west ought to show none of the same tendencies occurring there, right? Rare prostrate cancer, no excessive violence, and poor athletic abilities should be evident in those lands?

True, but in reality, the same things are seen in Africa as we observe in black people in North America!

Another great article.

Who would have thought there would be such a ruckus while searching for the truth.

Excellent piece! Simon Webb is one of very few who dare to approach such taboo topics with an open mind. Young writers are either brain-washed or afraid to damage their careers. Or both.

As a schoolboy in the 1950s in the UK, I was given an Encyclopedia in which the section on human beings showed the classification into caucazoid, mongoloid, negroid, and I think a fourth covering Native Americans and Inuits. This was of course generally accepted then. What is interesting now is when you look at the latest DNA finds in relation to homo groups ancestral to Homo sapiens, they seem to be strong suggestions that these groups were descended independently, prior to later interbreeding of course. In other words that there were essential differences between these ancestor groups

Yes, in other words the old ideas may well have been right, and the modern ideology faulty.

Mr Webb mentions lecturer Adam Rutherford, who writes "How to Argue With a Racist".

·

I do not know what his solution/advices are, or if he mentions/have thought of possible consequences:

A. If you says that your opponent is a racist, and he disagrees, then you might find yourself in a civil (?) court facing penalty according to defamation law. (Why this law is no used, I do not understand [***].)

B. He — it could only be an english person (eg. Mr Webb), acc. 'Establishment' (eg. governments (?), the Police, BBC, museums, universities) — might get angry for feeling wrongly accused of this moral/social crime, and might take out his anger (wrongly so) at any minority/'global-majority'-person that crosses his path.

C. He might pretend to listen to you, but do not dare to contradict, hoping no-one else would think he is a racist, choosing to stay silent with what he really thinks.

D. If too many of that kind choose the same, then democracy's freedom of speech will decline.

E. And, as a final possible consequence, England too (the only english country in the World's large Diversity) will eventually decline:

2023-Dec-18 TalkTV: "Immigration "Is Having A Fundamental Effect On The Nature Of This Country And Who We Are" Says Ex-MP" [former (1997–2017) Conservative MP Sir Gerald Howarth] (Video time 01:00–02:51):

– "The reason why we've got to this situation is because for years and years, indeed decades, we were NOT ALLOWED TO TALK about immigration and the effects of immigration in our country without being labeled racist."

– "And nobody wanted to be labeled racist."

– "The fact is, now we face an EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO THIS COUNTRY, not just from illegal migration."

– "Well, there are parts of the country where you can't talk about Christmas for fear of offending muslims. For goodness sake, this is our country!"

·

I think that denying the above is a greater concern than denying the biological facts of any racial differences explained by Mr Webb. On the other hand, if his logic would manifest itself in society, then maybe the above will follow?

·

[***] History Debunked (Simon Webb), deleted YouTube-video 2023-Mar-18: "When speaking the truth about gender and race becomes a revolutionary act", (time 02:33–)

– "In the western world today, one of the most deadly accusations which can be laid against anybody is that a person is racist or sexist."

– "The very suggestion of such a thing can be enough to destroy a man's career or see him shunned like a leper."

– "That being so, it is perhaps understandable that those with reputations and careers would choose to steer clear of controversy and play it safe."
