Even if the lie that the white race came out of Africa were true it still begs the question why are the indigenous peoples of such low intelligence and high aggression.

Why has every sub Saharan country failed except for SA and Rhodesia and then only with white rule.

Why was it that the moment white control ended chaos, violence and failed states followed?

If indeed "they wuz kangs" why arent they now?

How wonderfully fitting that the first documented use of the term 'racism' was by a General Dick Pratt !😂

Well said. As an ex-academic myself, I can affirm that many so-called scholars are more interested in propagating ideology than in searching for the truth, especially in the Humanities. Most of those who are not ideologues keep silent from cowardice. Those few who speak out are usually hounded out of their posts, even if they have tenure, as I did. I've come to the conclusion, like Peter Boghossian, that universities need to be burned to the ground so we can start anew. Incidentally, I satirise the demise of academia in my recent novel, which I'd better not mention for fear of it appearing as self-promotion.

Come, come, nobody objects to self-promotion of writing here! I am guilty of it myself in no small measure. What is the book called?

Thanks, Simon, that's kind of you. It's called Our Parent Who Art in Heaven (Flame Books, 2022). I'd be happy to send you a copy if you're interested.

My grandfather's naturalization certificate, issued in New York in 1926, shows a line which reads: Race: Hebrew...

Yes, I have seen such a thing. The idea that the concept was invented by the Nazis is preposterous.

If we want to pinpoint the first use of the term in western culture I might accept starting with Kant... 🚬

Yet another sliver* of truth delivered with a twinkle in the eye and an innocent yet somehow mischievous air. Marvellous! Made my day, thank you.

*the word for a morsel of something is, of course, sliver, and not slither. As we all already know, slithering is what a snake does - I know Mr Webb already knows this and I’m sure I am teaching granny to suck eggs, dear reader. I beg forgiveness…

The faulty diction is caused a the lack of teeth, rather than a lack of knowledge! It brings about a problem akin to a lisp. I'm glad that you liked this piece, I aim to please!

My apologies if you thought I was criticising you, I wasn’t- I was merely venting impotently at all the TV talking heads, obviously badly taught, who are incapable of distinguishing between sliver and slither.

Besides, for us more ‘mature’ citizens, missing teeth can be attributed to heroic, sympathy extracting, made up tales of death defying derring do, rather than spending far too much time in Woolworths’ pick n’ mix aisle.

Thanks for making me smile - have an excellent day.

I didn't think you were criticising me! Besides which, anybody who puts himself about as much on the internet as I do, should be able to cope with anything. If I raise a smile, then my purpose has been achieved! I hope that you too have a good day.
